North Brrr..wick

Brrrr...cold in North Berwick today. Over the east coast visiting folk we met on holiday last year. Lovely to see them again and catch up. Their six year old daughter is still very much infatuated with my eight year old son but I'm not sure the feeling's mutual. He turned a rather fetching shade of scarlet when she threw her arms around him in welcome. His face was a picture as well.

Took a very cold and very quick walk in the woods and we were even brave enough for a turn on the beach. The sand looked alive as it was buffeted along by the icy winds. I would have Blipped it if I'd been brave enough to take my hands out of my pockets. Never mind, in nice warm toasty car now on way home. Time for a nap.
