Fly past

Arrived in Caerlaverock Friday evening in time to see the badger but couldn't get a good shot of it. There was also a young fox but he wouldn't keep still. Couldn't blip yesterday anyway as I couldn't get a signal.

Spent most of the day at the reserve. Some heavy showers and chilling wind. Large numbers of whooper swans, wigeon and barnacle geese and a lovely small flock of yellow hammers, their colours bright now with spring in the air.

Liked the movement of these whoopers taking off this morning.
