It's Still Winter

I think it's fair to say that V and I have been suffering a bit from post-holiday blues so when he suggested we walk to the Indian shop in the West End I was glad to get out of the house. The sun was out, my flat was warm, I had bought some flowers, all signs that spring was on it's way. I made the reckless decision to wear my 'autumn/spring' jacket and off I set...and it was freezing! So much so, that we decided to get the bus home in the end. You would have thought that I'd have learned by now that the weather is always the 'opposite' of what it looks like in the north east. This picture was taken from outside my house on the way home. Now time for a minty hot chocolate to warm up.
