A carpet of snowdrops

The weekend has arrived once more.Went to the supermarket this am and then went out with Tanya this afternnon. We went to Valley Crusis Abbey in Llangollen. The sky was bright blue when we arrived but after about 40mins it clouded over and we had sleet!!!
We then went to Llantysilio. The snowdrops were out in full bloom and it was beautiful. Enjoyed a walk down to the river and Tanya got to play with her new camera. Great place to try out all the settings even if it did turn very cold and we couldn't feel our fingers!!!
Back home now in the warm and planning another trip out tomorrow to the zoo. x
