Birthday

Had a birthday and lots of cakes -- see above. Son and daughter and her boys came with, in addition, a load of classy "gateaux individuels".

My wife made, at my request, a choccy-covered date flapjack -- call me an old fool, but I really like its rough-hewn look. Tastes wonderful as well.

Have had a great day -- also, the boys dismantled some of my 3D wooden puzzles and it's going to take me ages to mantle them again. Don't mind -- I'm not very good at it, but I enjoy it. (How sad is that?)
