flowery

I spent most of the day tiling today ~ with our lovely new handmade tiles from cornwall. I love them...they're very handmade and a bit wonky but so is our house so they suit it. can't wait to get the mantelpiece in above them - a big bit of pine joist from my mum and dad's steading. the tiles were bloody expensive but I'm pretty sure I'll still love them in fifty years time.

in other news...it's snowing here!
