When You Wish Upon A Star

Well, what a beautiful day it was today. It started perfectly, with the sun bursting through the windows at 7.30. I'm very lucky to live far enough away from the road to never need to pull the bedroom curtains, also lucky that the house faces east so an early morning sunshine smack in the kisser is a regular occurence from about February through to October.

A slightly colder day than we've had recently but when the sun shone, which it did a lot, it was beautiful. I took Alfredo for a wander and then sat for a ponder on the riverbank among the snowdrops. I've got several prettier photos but this one give a little hint of how mad the dog went, running back and forth, up and down, in an outof the river, he was almost in a frenzy, so funny.

Later on, my attention was drawn, by someone hundred of miles away, to the sky which is absolutely chock-full of stars tonight. We stood under the same bright stars, from different countries, and wishes were made.
