St Chads

A potter round the deadly quiet Stafford town centre today, ended with us popping into St Chads, the oldest building in Stafford. What an unexpected delight, beautiful Norman church with fabulous carvings, very high church. Added significance to the family, a great grandmother and father were married here, and just in time according to birth records of the time ;-)
