Having made the mistake last week of thinking I had a Wedding Fair on Sunday, I had to go out today and buy another bunch of roses to decorate my stand. I hadn't time to go up into town to the florist hence the not-quite-fresh supermarket bloom!

I was so nice today to get a visit from my best friend from school days, she'd come over from the north-east to visit her mum and took time to come round the corner to see me. She insisted on my showing her pictures of my grandson, wasn't that kind?
