Holly And Rain

I bought a new lens yesterday, Canon ES 55-250 II IS Telephoto with image stabilization. I got up this morning and it was raining outside, so I decided to try out my new lens out the front window. I was pleasantly surprised how well the lens worked and how beautiful the pictures turned out. I took several other shots of rain drops splashing in the bird bath, but they were not very colorful so in the end, I ultimately decided I liked my first shot of the day the best.
