Wood Pile

Today, with a huge effort on our behalf, we had all the children doing work outside. I wish they would just get on and do the wee bit of a job without all the arguing and giving out - he's stopped working so I'm not doing any more or she's your favourite because your not making her carry as much as me.
Anyway, I shouldn't be complaining because they did all do their bit. Number one son stacked up this wood pile. We will have to cover it over to keep it dry for burning next year in the stove.
The girls went around the garden (an acre and a half which is a killer for keeping organised) with bin bags picking up all the old bits of broken toys, rubbishy plastic and punctured footballs. They had two full bin bags when they had finished. This was truly fantastic, so thankyou girls, but as the bin bags were not quite as photogenic as the wood pile unfortunately they didn't get blipped.
