Journeys day by day

Pine siskin

Can someone turn off the faucet out there? I can't do a thing with my feathers today. It was so wet this poor siskin was actually drinking water drops from the feeder. They've been here all day feeding, along with the juncos, chickadees, towhees, and the Townsend's warbler that's been hanging out here. This is the first time since I put the feeders out last month that I've seen the siskins using it, now if only the Anna's hummingbird would make a reappearance. Next plan is to get a thistle feeder to see if I can lure the goldfinch here, I've not seen one in my yard ever.

Having a relaxing Saturday, going to cook some halibut and haricots vert for dinner.
