We spent another day wandering around the Blackwater Wildlife Refuge. There were a lot of bald eagles around. I got some great shots of this one. He was on the nesting stand, flew off and came back with something to eat. I am still not sure what it got. We also watched an immature eagle try to carry away a dead snow goose. He gave up after two attempts.
