Sobering

Awoke to the sad news that a friend's wife had passed away yesterday. I can't begin to comprehend what he is going through with two very young girls. It is a sad and all too sobering reminder of all we take for granted.

We have nothing planned for today so it will be nice to have a quiet day getting the house in order for the coming week. A bit of quiet and comforting normality for which I am truly thankful.
