Cuddles

Today has been a very traumatic day, but finished with cuddles.
I received a telephone call to say that my mum was very ill and had been rushed to hospital. My husband rushed home from work and we started a 3 hour journey to get to her. The traffic was horrendous and the journey was obviously going to take a lot longer than the planned 3 hours. However, after being on the road for an hour and 40 minutes we received a call to say that all was going to be OK. We hadn't even completed a third of the journey by this point, so everyone (family/husband/myself) decided the best scenario would be for us to turn back home. What a delight to find our Grandson having cuddles with his Uncle. A wonderful distraction to an eventful day!
