chilli jam

In advance of a family invasion I got some chilli jam made and bottled.

We had some lovely stuff when we were in Wales and I thought I'd have a go when I got back here.

There was so much in the pan to start with I kept thinking it would never fit in the jars - and it didn't fit in the four jars that the recipe predicted, but maybe the writer's definition of "small" wasn't the same as mine

This lot contains ten chllis, eight red peppers, eight large cloves of garlic, a packet of tomatoes and sugar, vinegar etc, but it reduces down when you do the simmering!
