I often glimpse this tree when I'm out walking the dog (who I'm sure will feature as a blip entry soon.) During the week I sadly noticed its sibling trunk had succumbed to weight and wind (not the first one to crack along the Stour or its tributaries this winter either.) Oddly I'd only just photographed it upright and whole at the beginning of the month too.
