Or maybe not....

Hovis had his bandage taken off today. He had a bit of a hissy fit as the vet took off the bandage. Manage to hold Hovis, along with my Dad. I mentioned Hovis's eyes were glowing red and the vet said it was because his blood pressure was raised. My Dad said: "He's not the only one with raised blood pressure!" Hovis is a strong dog for his size. So he's having to have the bucket collar on in case he licks the wound on his leg or pulls the stitches out. By the time Hovis returns to the vets next Thursday, these stitches will be embedded in his skin!! Hovis has been really good considering the fact that he's so disabled from being his usual mad self. He did go to have a drink from his water bowl with the bucket collar on and spilled the lot over the kitchen floor! Then he had the sense to put the whole collar around the dish and managed to drink from the bowl. Genius!
