Katie realised this morning that we have a visitor for the week - the Cousins' hamster, Hazel has come for a holiday. Katie runs to see "Hazel Handsome" about every ten minutes. She likes to sit up beside her and watch for her. She stroked her very lovingly and carefully this morning too. I suspect Hazel's return may bring the arrival of a new MyGirl-household resident.

We've had a fabulous day. Katie and I spent quite a bit of time first thing playing outside the house. There's a big forecourt space outside the house and she loved being able to ride her bike around.

We then went to church. It was quite a long time before the children went up to their groups today and she did well, sat eating her snacks (she ate a lot of them - it really was a long time!) and playing boo with Jasmine. She had a lot of fun in her sunday school group. They made pictures, did songs and stories, had a big snack. She always comes out full of smiles. After the service Mummy got big cuddles with a gorgeous little newborn, he was very scrummy!

Jasmine, Jayden and Victoria came back for lunch. Which was tomato soup. We havent sorted our new dining table yet, so Katie was sat at the small table, on her new (cream) chair. Yep. The soup got knocked, spilt then went EVERYWHERE. But that aside, it was as always a fabulous time. Katie loved having big kids that could take her outside to play, and they played so well for a really long time. It gave the mummies a nice time to talk photography.

She was shattered by the time they went home, and at 5pm, tried to fall asleep on the sofa. I managed to get her to eat some tea, a big one at that, but couldnt drag her beyond 5.45 before she zonked.
