Speeding sparrow

Went up to the allotment and planted some of the shallots - might still be a bit too cold, I don't know. Spread some fleece over them which should help as long as the foxes don't take a fancy to it as a duvet. The sunshine was wonderful but the wind was piercing.

When I looked in the camera I found that I only had shots of the sparrow gang mobbing the feeder after D had refilled it - and none of them was as good as the one I blipped in December. Still, at least this one made me laugh, having caught a sparrow zooming away from the fat balls with his wings folded - sometimes they just jump a short distance without feeling the need to flap.
