Party Balloons

Today has been a better day. Boy has clearly been brighter with no sickness so far and Girl has been in fine spirits. Being the exciting parents we are, this morning, we took the pair of them to the bottle bank followed by the cemetry for a wander. Boy was feeling so good he even got out of the buggy to watch his sister repeatedly glide down the slop on her scooter and even had a little go himself.

Girl is getting really confident and quick on her scooter now (its taken a little while). She seems to have suddenly got the knack of it and the slope gliding really boosted her confidence as I noticed her getting a bit cocky about her scooting.

This was later illustrated on the way to one of her friends birthday parties later on in the day when she whilst scooting looped her right leg around the handlebar stem. She told us she had just invented this stunt. After a few more goes she announced that she was naming this move as "the flamingo round scooter trick". I was dead impressed.

Once at the party she was straight into the disco action and danced away with all her friends having so much fun. It was a joint party and was funny to see how many of our friends know other friends of other friends just through groups and nurseries.

Boy slept through the beginning of the disco party but woke after a while a bit grumpy. Mind you so would I, having to put up with that much Justin Bieber going on whilst I was wanting to nap. Thankfully the grump did not last as this evening he even started smiling again. It was nice to see, fingers crossed this is the start of him being better. It was not as nice, though, to hear Girl singing Beiber as she went to bed to the point where it infected my internal jukebox.
