Thunder

A huge thunderstorm hit us, quite literally today! It was looking pretty ugly and had been giving off little rumbles but nothing extreme. Then, BOOM! The loudest thunder clap that had ever hit my ears boomed out in the night. My scalp tingled from all the electricity in the air. Later we ventured outside and found a tree in between our neighbor's house and ours that had been split by lightning. The lightning had struck yards away from our house! It was amazing, scary, but amazing.
