Lads night out

In Bedford of all places. Following the family trip there last weekend, it was time for the boys to give it ago and with kellie out for the evening, what better time to do it.

The night started with the shambolic defeat at Sunderland and then onto the rather lovely embankment bar. A jägerbomb later and we went to the ship, a pub that Hughesy took us to last week but for me, resembles the wagon.

We then walked for what seemed an eternity to the 'legendary' curry mile where we sampled the flower pot pub, which was charming to say the least and also where the above photo was taken.

Finally we ended up in an empty curry house (never a good sign) and got stuck into the whole shabang.

Back in time for match of the day followed by a nights sleep on an air bed with no air in it. Comfy. Great night though.
