Peggy!

First major trip to the allotment - well to plant rather than collect. Now have my first early potatoes in and Pete planted the garlic. Rummaged around and found a big black bin to put over the top to force it to grow. Yum yum cannot wait

Had a lovely walk and saw a very unusual bird in the bird sanctuary - a white parrot! Yes it was in a cage attached to someone's bike, happily cycling along, well the owner was quite happy. Yes that would have been a great blip but I wasn't quick enough so sprouting rhubarb instead.

Caught Peggy chicken and thought this was a rather beautiful picture of her. When will you start laying again?
