River Conwy

Went down to Conwy after work today to see what could be blipped. This view is from the bridge/causeway (or whatever) across from Llandudno Junction and is looking out of the estuary to sea. The boats there are just waiting patiently for their owners, sitting at anchor all day and all night, apparently without any attention or interference!

It always makes me wonder when I see them there for so long and see so few (comparativly) out sailing - even on warm summer days with a good breeze.

I was at a marina down south many years ago and a friend and I were waitng for his wife and daughters (3 women let loose shopping!!!) and ended up estimating the total value of boats in the marina - the total was phenonemal!!
