Chow two
Just over a year ago, we nearly lost Baggins. He had a urinary tract infection that all of a sudden floored him. If we wouldn't have rushed him to the vets when we did, he wouldn't of lasted another hour or two. Apparently what he had was caused by simply eating standard everyday cat food which caused huge crystals to form in his bladder, making him unable to wee, or something like that. He had to be in the hospital bit of the vets for over a week and we got to go visit him. He was a very, very sorry state to behold, not the Baggins you all know.
Thankfully he made a full recovery, however he has to be on a special diet for the rest of his life and this is what you see above. It's lucky that he loves this food because it's all he gets. Initially the vet supplied us with his new diet, saying only he could provide it, and it aint cheap, £24 for a 2.5kg bag. I then thought I'm sure I can get it cheaper online, and I found a place where I can get a 6kg bag for only £28, a bargain. Even when you fashion in the postage and packaging, it only amounts to £31, which may sound a lot, but it lasts him for over 3 months, so when you do the maths it works out not too bad.
