ok,. so this is just a shop in town.

The fact that I worked here for a little while is neither here nor there (although its a fabulous little gift shop run by a lovely couple)

Mark, the owner, had some Caithness slate engraved with local dialect and it took him ages to get the shop painted and the slabs up on the wall.

The nearest three read:
Scorries cownin for a pucklie rain
Id's a foosum day
and
Gie's a sail in yur hurley

Whether you like the bright orange/yellow colour or not (brighter than the photo shows up), you cant help but love the plaques.
