Outstanding

You know you're in for a good parent's night when the first word you hear is outstanding!

Freya is in second year and is about to make her choices which will see her through to the new national qualifications in 2014. Fortunately her career choices all start with art school so it's not too difficult to select suitable options.

According to her teachers she will excel at anything she chooses and they would all be delighted to have her take their subject. She is mature, outgoing, independent, thoughtful, insightful, enthusiastic and motivated. She was described as top of the class and a wee star again and again and I'm so proud of her. (A couple of them also mentioned chatty, but she's her mother's daughter so it's no great surprise).

I don't go in for zoos but she absolutely loves Pandas so as a special treat we are going to visit the Edinburgh Pandas as soon as we can get a booking. I figure she deserves a reward for all that hard work.
