You'll have to trust me on this one.

We've been told by the man who cut the hedges that there is a wood pigeon nesting in the holly tree. He didn't want to disturb her so he'll come back later in the year to trim that one. I'm quite sorry he cut the surrounding hedges as I think it leaves the nest a little exposed now. Interestingly, our holly tree is the subject of a preservation order! Oops!
