The fourteen

is a bus which travels from Niddrie to Muirhouse. My friends Dad is a bus driver and calls it the methadone express. Today there were two men discussing how their church was much better when the preacher went into a trance and started talking in tongues, a man having a wee chat with his can of coke and a couple who had left Leith 40 years ago and were giving a running commentary on how every building from the top of Leith walk to the end of junction street had changed, often for the worse.
Its always an entertaining journey.
