Carnaval in Haiti = a 5-day weekend!
Good reason to travel to Santo Domingo for a Dutch embassy visit, some relaxing strolling around, some shopping, reading a book on the lovely terraces and enjoying frozen yogurt.
Not too bad a trade for missing out on Maastricht carnaval.
