Chemainus estuary

An arm of the Chemainus River enters the Salish Sea near here and as well as Bonsall Creek. For years the Crofton Pulp and Paper mill dumped ash here. Now blackberry bushes grow in the ash. The property was sold by the mill to Ducks Unlimited.
