Getting there

Popped out to get some lunch and grabbed a pic of the tramworks by Haymarket. They are now doing the curve that leads down to Haymarket Yards and the section that runs alongside the railway tracks. I still wonder why the project started in so many different places at once. Would it not have been better to build the tracks from the airport to Haymarket first, mostly off road, and then get trams running on that section while working on the next bits. As it currently stands all the work on Leith Walk, all the disruption to businesses down there is going to be wasted, or at the very least not used for tram lines for many years.
