My grandpa's camera

In the next of my very short series on old cameras here is the next one.

This is my grandpa's Microcord Mk1 twin lens reflex camera, made in England

He was a brilliant photographer and my earliest memories are of him saving all his spare cash (from giving up smoking) to purchase ever better camera kit. He also had colour and black and white developing and processing equipment and I can recall the smell of the chemicals as if it were yesterday. I have some of his photographs including a few he won competitions with.

He was and is my inspiration for getting better at this hobby.
