Shadows: shadows in the night

What a day - Gail had her second physio session on her back this morning, so after the School run to Penrith, it was off to Cockermouth, an interesting town with photographic opportunities. So D700 and 28 - 300mm lens came too.

Unfortunately, battery remained sitting in the charger at home, and CF card remained in my computer, so I spent the morning toting about a large slab of male jewellery!

Busy afternoon, so no time for pics then, although shadows wouldn't have worked today, as it has rained constantly for the last 2 days in Cumbria :(

So this evening, along our lane, with the assistance of Emma, and my shadow, wearing coat and hat (me - as well as the shadow!) I came up with this. Is it normal to have scary shadows chasing your daughter, or is my mind curiously warped? Mind you, I was born on halloween!
