It's from my balcony garden. I'm so zen that little dragonflies come to hang out with my tomatoes and yellow peppers. It makes me feel a bit happy considering I'm in Toronto. Go wildlife go.

Today is my birthday. I am officially half my dad's age today. He didn't call me on my birthday again (ongoing issue since my mom died) It's almost been 3 years since she died so I'm getting use to her missing my birthday but it grates on my nerves that he can't call me. Sigh. (He sent me a card. And a present but It's not about the present it's about saying I care.)
Anyways, I miss my mom a lot on my birthday cause she use to sing to me. B did that this morning. It's nice to pass on a tradition especially if it has meaning for you. I'm a bit sad. But on the bright side I got my nails done and they look lovely.
