I couldn't tell you much about my first house. I remember a lot of green. I think the dining room was green. I remember the basement because it had more toys than it did living space and I probably spent more time there than anywhere else. I remember Mickey Mouse on the wall of my bedroom, and I remember sharing with my little sister. The lock was on the outside because it used to be my older sister's, and when my parents tried to put her in time out, she'd just walk out, so they had to flip the doorknob. The living room had a TV and a fireplace and brown carpet. I used to think it made my mother's eyesight worse because it was the only room in which she wore glasses; it turns out, she only needed glasses to read, and only read in that room. They both would sit on the couch and put their feet on the coffee table at night, and when I didn't feel like going to bed, I'd crawl under their legs (before I had to blow up a balloon and spray Nasonex into my nose, because I had inner ear issues). I remember the back yard, because it had water and a bunch of big rocks. We used to pretend the rocks were animals and ride them around the yard. We also wrote things on them with smaller rocks. Once there was a bear in our yard, and we were eating macoroni and cheese. My older sister and I used to go into the woods in the front yard and practice witchcraft. The only thing I remember about the kitchen is spitting out red medicine onto the floor, because I didn't want to take it. (I haven't changed.)

Happy Presidents Day!!! To celebrate I recited all the presidents in order for my parents. They didn't care.
