Sprengidagur - Shrove Tuesday
Today has been very busy from the moment I woke up at 6:30 until now, at 21:00. Lots to do at work, lots of personal errands and shopping after work. But I managed to take a few minutes for myself while my husband finished preparing the traditional Icelandic Shrove Tuesday-meal; salted lamb and split pea soup.
The last of today's light was used while photographing, because just a few moments later dusk began falling and the streetlights were lit.
Beautiful day, but very cold in the afternoon.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow... I might even wear a costume to work. Costumes are not just for children, are they? Well, I'm a child at heart ;o)
(This entry is part of a 30 day challenge a lot of blippers were doing in January. This is project #21, Faceless Self-portrait)
