Rosenmontag

The main day of Cologne Carnival. It was much like yesterday except there was MORE of everything - people, costumes, parades, drinking, singing, dancing, noise, fun.

It took a while to escape from the snaking parade to the peace of the river and this was my favourite photo of the day because of the light - I can't make out if it is in focus or not without my specs :-(
The horse on the 'castle' boat was happily eating hay everytime we passed.
