#Scarborough Skipping Day

A unique tradition in Scarborough is Skipping Day, when the town's kids pour down onto the seafront Foreshore Road (closed for the day) to skip the afternoon away. Thousands of families pack the road, the air full of the sound of children giggling and the tick tick tick of skipping ropes.
An easy job for a newspaper photographer to shoot a pic spread, and this is one of them I snapped for the News.
