John

The conversation was something like this :

me: john can I take your photo

john: Nah, piss off ye kna' I divvent lyk' it (John's a real Geordie)

me: thanks mate I'll send you a print !

John's a big softie really but he is a bit of a tough nut too, he's tarmaced (asphalted) thousands of miles of Britain's motorways. He's just been made redundant and looking for work.

This wasn't the blip I really wanted, I got a great portrait of him but my camera was set up for dynamic area and only his ear and chest hair was in focus.
