Tree sculpture
Early last year a new access point and pathway was made from East Harrison Park to the canal towpath. As part of this landscaping, some new trees were planted and one has a very robust support around it. I think it's more a sculpture than a support.
I've cycled this way almost every day, but today I decided to get a bit closer (I was on the lookout for a blip). For the first time I noticed the patterns around the tree are words associated with the park and the canal. I think it's a lovely piece of work.
Some of you might remember I bought a new bike a few weeks ago. Here it is in the background of this blip. I'm really enjoying the cycling.
