Kindness and cake

Editing this entry from earlier as something seems to have gone wonky with my dates somewhere along the line between my iPhone and the uploads.

This is a tale of kindness and Twitter.

Dear daughter had decided that she wished to bake a heart-shaped cake for the next Edinburgh Cake Ladies event, and we didn't have a heart-shaped tin. A few tweets and kindness was offered by Michelle at Tea at 94 in the form of a cake tin for us to borrow. How kind. Her cakes are delicious and we had to try some when we went to pick up the tin.
