shrove tuesday

A busy day today. N was away overnight last night so I had the morning rush all to myself. I spent some time with my dad this morning while his car was at the garage, then visited a friend who is having a tough time. Makes me count my blessings and Ella, Isaac & Hugh each got an extra hug tonight before bed. Tuesday nights are always a bit manic with Ella's Girls Brigade but we managed to fit in a pancake feast. I left mine until after my run which was invigorating tonight in the wind and rain. Exhilerating and the pancakes were all the better afterwards.
