Through the windscreen.
Hands clenched on the wheel
Eyes locked on the road ahead
I peer out through the windscreen
Playing at being a Top Gear presenter
I squeeze the throttle
Faster, faster, faster,
The background must be a blur
To give the viewer a sense of speed
I hold position on the camera car
We travel locked together as one
But the camera car is a witness
Not a part of this story
I gaze intently out through the window
The unblinking eye of the camera
Stares back through the window at me
The glass between us is irrelevant

Finally I had an idea for the assignment!
Of course, I am not foolish (or lucky?!?) enough to have cameramen and chase cars for my blip so the effects are all post processed. This is from a single original frame though - using a polariser and remote-triggered flash to get the lighting right. Originally I uploaded this this one but I think this is slightly better - figured out how to get a slightly better motion blur.
Thank you all for your wonderful comments over the past couple of days!
I hope you enjoy this blip too.
