As we remember, there is quiet, a stillness that echos with memories of the horror of this time last year - one year ago, when Christchurch and its people were devastated by the 6.3 earthquake.

We remember the dead, the injured, the terrified, stressed, the homeless, the people affected in many many ways by this disaster, and we try to forge a new way forward, to rebuild lives as best we can, for we can never replace what has been lost.
