TREE OF HOPE AND RIVER OF FLOWERS

Today is the first anniversary of the devastating earthquake in Christchurch that claimed the lives of 185 people and changed the lives of everyone who lives in this wonderful city of ours. In memory of those who lost their life people where asked to float flowers down the river Avon which flows through the city and to place messages of hope for the future on a tree of hope.
