Autumn

Although still August, it looks like summer is over. This picture shows drizzle, low clouds, colder temperatures and shorter daylight. Tonight we will move the Hermod to the West side of the NW Hutton platform. We do not have to bring in all twelve anchors, but can do this with shifting the position of only four of her anchors. Only a couple of modules remained in place, but all lifting eyes are installed and when lifting once started, it is a matter of a few days to complete the dismantling of this platform. The structure, or jacket, will stay behind. Next year we will take care of this and take it away.
