The Rivals

At first, I thought these two were a pair, as they seemed to be tolerating, were even comfortable with, each other. Not so. Within moments they set to in the tangle of branches. It was a dim light, and closer inspection (plus a little enhancement) shows them to be obvious rivals.
It's that time of year.
