This is dedicated to stevew who, in the nicest possible way, outed me yesterday as a Photoshop skew feature addict. Yes, I like my parallel lines but I am prepared, very sadly, to concede that they do look weird when the picture is clearly taken upwards from ground level.

So this one is straight-out-of-the-camera100% unskewed.

No, it is not windy. No, gravity has not vanished from Oxford. No, there is not some great magnetic attraction to a nearby building. To the naked eye the hoist rope drops straight down from the top of the crane jib (Wikipedia is quite interesting on how cranes work) and is at 90º to the ground.
